In 2022, Brewer Construction successfully completed the Nippon plant project, a cutting-edge 3psi blast resistant testing laboratory inside the Nippon plant in Pasadena, Texas. This complex initiative showcased our team’s expertise in delivering innovation solutions, prioritizing safety, and exceeding client expectations.
Following a major hurricane that caused water intrusion inside the client’s plant, they set out to find a partner who could build an elevated lab – protecting against future flooding. In response, Brewer Construction designed and constructed a 3,300 square foot specialized lab on an elevated structure, 10-feet above ground.
The lab building features storage for firefighting equipment and an ambulance underneath, elevator access for easy sample transport, and a helical pile foundation for structural support due to existing soil conditions (a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution).
Our design-build approach ensured seamless project execution, and our commitment to safety resulted in zero incidents or accidents throughout the project.
Brewer Construction is grateful for the hard work and dedication of our team who helped make this project a success!
